Bullet journal habit tracker

A bullet journal habit tracker is a monthly grid: habits down the side, days across, one box to tick per day. Print this one with your habits and the 2027 dates already in place, or use its numbers to draw your own.

Layout

The PDF has a box you can tick on screen for every day, in any PDF reader that fills forms. It's made in your browser; your habits are not sent anywhere.

Fitting it in your journal

A month needs up to 31 columns. On a dotted page with dots 5 mm apart, 31 days take 155 mm, wider than an A5 page (148 mm) but well within its height (210 mm). That's why many journals run the days down the page; a printed sheet runs them across a landscape page instead.

To glue a printed sheet into an A5 journal, choose A4 paper and print at about 71% (A4 to A5 in your printer's scale setting): the 297 by 210 mm sheet comes out at about 211 by 149 mm, the size of an A5 page turned sideways. On US Letter, print at full size and fold it, or use it as a loose page.

This sheet starts the week on Monday, as many journals do; change it under Week starts on.

Questions

How do I draw a habit tracker in my bullet journal?

Write the month at the top, list your habits down the left, then number the days 1 to 31 across the top, one dot or square each, and draw a box under each day. Shade the weekends if you like. The printed sheet above has the same layout, so you can copy it.

What habits do people track in a bullet journal?

Daily yes-or-no habits work best: reading, journaling, a walk, water, an early night. See the habit ideas page for more.

Can I print every month of 2027 at once?

Yes. Choose All 12 months under Month to get twelve pages.
